特色亮點
- 賽道使用中山高速公路五股至汐止高架段，這是它最有辨識度的特色。
- 42.195K 與 21.0975K 兩個個人組別都限時 4 小時；全馬組還要求上傳近年全馬 4 小時內完賽成績供審核。
- 同場另有四人驅動接力，每棒約 5K，讓國道賽道不只服務全馬與半馬跑者。
Distinctive features
- The race uses the Wugu-Xizhi elevated section of National Freeway No. 1, which is its defining course feature.
- Both the 42.195K and 21.0975K individual categories had 4-hour limits; marathon entrants also needed to submit a recent sub-4 marathon result for review.
- A four-person relay was also part of the event, with each leg around 5K, opening the freeway course beyond solo marathon and half-marathon runners.

臺北國道馬拉松是一場真正跑上國道高架的城市公路賽，歷屆使用國道 1 號五股至汐止高架段。賽道平坦、直線感強、遮蔽少，是台灣很少見的高速公路賽道體驗。
Taipei Freeway Marathon is a rare city road race held on the elevated section of National Freeway No. 1 between Wugu and Xizhi. The course is flat, exposed, and markedly different from a normal city-street race.
