Distinctive features
- The 16.8K individual race and four-person relay share a Shizhuo-to-Leye route starting at roughly 1,400 metres elevation.
- Leg two is the hardest climb, gaining 482 metres over 5.1K, while leg three is predominantly downhill.
- The course starts at Zhongxing Elementary School and finishes at Leye Service Area through tea settlements, forest paths and Tsou community roads.
Runner notes
- The event runs from 07:00 to 11:00. The individual race and first relay leg start at 07:00, with relay cutoffs at 07:40, 09:00, 10:00 and 11:00.
- Race-day traffic controls leave no parking around exchange zones. Shuttle registration is required during entry, with parking at Leye Service Area.
- The relay is capped at 300 four-person teams. Payment is due within three days after entry data is submitted or the place is released.

Summary
The Alishan Tea Relay Trail links Shizhuo tea country, forest paths and the Leye community on a 16.8K highland route with 527 metres of climbing and 642 metres of descent. Runners can complete the full route individually or split it into 1.7K, 5.1K, 5.4K and 4.6K relay legs.
