- The marathon is capped at 9,000 runners, starts at 06:30, has a 5h30 limit, and finishes at Taipei Stadium.
- The half marathon is capped at 19,000 runners, starts at 07:00, has a 3h limit, and finishes on Nanjing East Road Section 4 before Jiankang Road.
- General lottery registration runs July 3 16:00 to July 15 17:00 for the marathon, and July 27 16:00 to August 10 17:00 for the half marathon.
- The marathon course leaves City Hall Plaza for central Taipei roads, Beian Road, Neihu riverside/elevated sections, and Taipei Stadium; the half marathon also starts downtown, then works through Zhongshan North Road, Beian Road, Mingshui Road, Tiding Boulevard, and Nanjing East Road.
Runner notes
- The marathon and half marathon finish in different places: the marathon finishes at Taipei Stadium, while the half finishes on Nanjing East Road Section 4 before Jiankang Road. Plan post-race meetups and transport accordingly.
- Both races start from City Hall Plaza, but the half marathon starts 30 minutes after the marathon.
