The 2026 Run for Education

Course and event highlights

• This school fundraiser supports STEAM grants and programs across 35 SRVUSD public schools. The 5K and 10K are chip-timed; the new 1.5-mile run/walk is untimed.
• 10K: 8:15 AM at Charlotte Wood Middle School, 600 El Capitan Drive, Danville; finish at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon. The 5K and 1.5-mile events start at 8:30 AM and finish at Iron Horse, 12601 Alcosta Boulevard.
• Park at Bishop Ranch 3, 2633 Camino Ramon. For the 10K, shuttles depart from 6:45 AM; the last leaves around 7:30 AM. There is no post-race shuttle back to Charlotte Wood.
• Bib and shirt pickup: October 7 at Hazy Barbecue, 3-6 PM, or October 10 at Sports Basement, 10 AM-4 PM. Confirm pickup location details before travelling.
• Friendship Run for athletes with special needs: 9:45 AM; one friend or caregiver may register free. Mini Run for ages 2-6: heats from 10:15 AM. Both use the Iron Horse school track.
• Course support ends at 10:30 AM; remaining participants may be directed onto sidewalks. Under-14s need an accompanying adult. Dogs and bicycles are not allowed on the course.
